Running Training

Mums in the Park running classes are aimed at those mums who started running and were doing quite well up until their pregnancy or experienced mums who are now getting the running bug and want to comfortably run an official road running event, or beat a personal best.

MITP running training takes place at running tracks and parks and involves challenging short timed runs with structured rest periods in order to better improve your running speed and confidence when running. It also involves stair and hill runs in order to improve your aerobic/anaerobic capacity.

These classes are hard but the consensus from the mums that have taken part is that you feel fantastic thereafter and can be still feeling the effects for hours to come.

These type of interval based sessions have an added benefit in that they are great at burning off lots of calories and have your metabolism heightened for hours post exercise!
